Spiritual Moments

I couldn't go with out sharing my feelings about music and what a beautiful thing it is to have a song touch your heart and soul. Sunday I was privileged to sing with my primary presidency Tina Ottley, Lisa Shick, and Lisa Bitter in sacrament meeting a song called " He is the Way" by Jennie Phillips. If you haven't heard the song look it up, it's so beautiful. As I sang this song and looked out at the congregation I could feel the spirit so strongly that it touched my heart so deeply. Music is powerful and to see the tears falling down cheeks was so touching. My heart is more full today because of this spiritual moment and the impact with forever be with me. I love music so much and am so grateful for the way it strengthens my testimony. He is the road, He is the path, He is the gate, HE IS THE WAY!!!!

Science Fair WINNERS!!!

So earlier this month the elementary held their annual science fair and Carson and his friends Austin and Chris did a project on heart rate increase. They worked really hard and did the project without the help of us parents. They held an awards assembly that I thankfully made it too and we were so surprised to find that the boys' project was picked as one of the ten projects out of the fifth and sixth grades to go on to District. They were so excited and so was I, I even had a few tears that I tried to hide so I didn't embarrass Carson. I do cry at pretty much anything but I couldn't help myself. To see these boys and their cute smiles that just lit up the room, I was so proud!

So off to District they went. They set up and presented their project on Feb. 13th and on Feb. 14th they went back to find that they had received more ribbons and was now going on to Region! Can you just see their excitement, it was great!

Here are the three boys after they received their medals last night for District. Now in a couple of weeks they get to miss school and go up to the U of U and present their project for Region. I can't even express how proud I am of Carson and of course his friends. They are so excited and I can't wait for them to experience what lies ahead. Good Luck Boys, I will try to keep my tears at a minium!
