UEA Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa's

We spent a wonderful weekend at my Dad's house while Warren was on the Elk Hunt a few weeks ago. I took the kids and headed to grandma & grandpa's after the boys' football games. We had a great time as always; eating, making cookies, watching movies, going to a movie, getting my hair colored, playing on ipads, playing with aunt Jacee, and again eating. I swear I gain ten pounds every time I go to their house. Jana is an amazing cook, this time she made homemade graham crackers for the smores that we ate outside by the fire pit. I always love getting away and my Dad and Jana always make us feel like we are at home! Love you guys and again Thank you for such a great and relaxing weekend!!

Scouting Awards

We attended a recent court of honor in which our boys were honored with a few merit badges. That night Carson received his tenderfoot and Connor received his star. It was so nice of the leaders to plan the night around a few of the boys and their football schedules. The boys haven't been able to attend scouts very much lately with football and everything, it makes me so proud to see them still working hard and accomplishing their goals. Good work boys, continue making us proud!!

Happy 9th Birthday Brynlee!!

September 28th Brynlee turned 9 years old. The day was crazy busy but later that evening Warren and I took Brynlee shopping and to dinner. Brynlee received the C.E.O. Award that morning at school and she looked so cute in her bright yellow scarf and cowgirl boots. Brynlee is known for her spicy attitude but she really is a sweet girl. Brynlee really takes pride in how she looks, she is always decked out in hair bows or jewelry or whatever she can find. She is my little fashion diva. It's great to a point but she won't let me hardly do her hair anymore. Brynlee love to play with her friends and is such a sweet sister reading books to Baylee at bedtime. Brynlee is taking a new Ballet class this year and has recently started up soccer again. She had a slow start but is really becoming an amazing little defender on the soccer field. Brynlee is so smart and talented and her school teacher is constantly telling me how great it is that Brynlee is in her class. Brynlee loves to sing, make art, ride her bike, have sleepovers with her friends, play with different hair styles, and she gets up early before everyone else and start her day. I am so happy to have such a beautiful daughter, Happy 9th Birthday Brynlee! Love you Mom!!

Happy 14th Birthday Connor!!

September 17th Connor turned 14 years old. I can't believe how he's grown. As you can see he is taller than me and thinks he's an adult already. Connor's birthday was spent at school and then at football practice. Later that evening he chose to have his Birthday dinner at Panda express. Connor is such a good kid despite the teenage attitude that he constantly has. I have to remind myself often that he will someday outgrow this. I think he has his cell phone taken away at least half of every week. Connor is the life of the party to see him around his friends and at school is quite interesting for me. He says Hi to everyone and also tells everyone that he loves them. I think his football team was shocked at first but now they all say they love him back. He is Mr. Personality and it cracks me up. He gets good grades without even trying, he is awesome at football, he is a great help at babysitting his siblings, and he is sweet and loving when he chooses to show that side of him. He hates to smile for pictures and he earns his money by mowing a few of our neighbors lawns. Connor was ordained a Teacher on September 30th and I am so proud of him. I hope time slows down a bit because I have a feeling that I'm going to blink and Connor will be a grown man leaving on his mission. I love you Connor, Happy 14th Birthday!!
