Road Trip to Salina Canyon

Saturday, Warren and I and my in-laws headed to Salina Canyon to check out some property that Warren's parents were interested in. We met the owner of the property at the bottom of the canyon and he had some snowmobiles ready for us to use to get to the property. It was six miles up the canyon and my first time on a snowmobile and I really enjoyed it. It was a warm sunny day and the snow was just beautiful! We were all impressed with the property and the cabin that was on it. As we were leaving Warren's dad made the owner an offer that he accepted. It has been a dream of my in-laws to own some property and they are so excited to hopefully be making this dream a reality. We stopped at a diner on the way home and after made it home just in time for Carson's last basketball game that evening.

Boy Crazy....

This cute little girl never ceases to amaze me. She is already boy crazy and I'm not sure I like it. If this is what I have in store for me in the future with her, I'm worried! Last week I was getting her ready for school and she picked out her outfit which was her fanciest church dress, nylons, church shoes, and wanted her hair all curled and pinned up. I tried to talk her out of this because it seemed way to much for school but she insisted on the whole look. I asked her several times why she wanted to be so dressed up for school and she would just giggle. I finally got it out of her and the reason was she wanted to look cute for a boy named Cole in her school class, I want to marry him mom. She then said don't worry I have lots of crushes though. I have tried to tell her that we don't dress up for boys that we look cute for ourselves but she's not convinced. Everyday since this day she gets ready for school and then says I hope Cole looks at me today. I just hope this is a phase!!

Carson Rocks!!

Carson is my dream son, he is so sweet and talented and is just a great kid! He has had a great month with finishing his science fair project with his buddies Austin and Chris, they did a great job and got a honorable mention award. Carson has also been playing junior jazz basketball for the past three months and has really improved tremendously. He started the year off with little confidence and by the end of the season he was leading his team with several points, steals and aggression. He has learned a lot from coach Byington and is excited to soon start spring soccer with the same coach! Keep it up Carson you are Amazing!!
