The White Family Campout 2012

 What a great family campout we had this past weekend at Bear Canyon with the White family. Here we all are except for the Taylors, Brandon, and Connor. Connor had scout camp that week so we were unable to take him with us.

Here is our family picture just as we were loading up to break camp.






This picture of Michelle and I is probably my favorite. We had a great time in the rain with our broom and shovel hitting the top of the tent to drain the water off  so it wouldn't collapse. At the time it was pouring rain and chaos but after we had a fun photography shoot getting just the right picture!

These two cuties would not let the rain stop them from having fun. It rained alot but we still made the most of our trip. Thank heavens we brought my dad's trailer so the kids could dry off and watch movies.





Then we have wildly stylish grandpa John! He was a trooper in the rain. He went from tent to tent helping everyone with their tarps and pulling everything out of the rain. He was drenched in this picture!

Aunt Michelle planned a fun scavenger hunt for the kids. I made them stop on the bridge to pose, aren't they all so cute!

Grandma Ohma always takes great care of everyone while we are camping and it seems like she practically brings there whole house so we have everything that we need. This year she topped all years and made a solar oven and cooked a turkey in it. Yes I did say a turkey, we had the yummiest turkey dinner while camping. I bet most people can say that they haven't had a turkey dinner while camping but grandma Ohma does it all, she's the best!

Baylee was so excited to hold baby Jonah, he was such a good baby while we were camping. I just love babies!!

These two were glued at the hip. They walked up holding hands so I just had to get a picture. I love my memories with my cousins growing up and I know that these two will have so many together!  Baylee & Kate

Someone always gets hurt while camping and I guess it was Warren's turn. He sliced up his arm on a pop up tent. Nurse Grandma Ohma took good care of his owie!




And then the last picture is the cutest of all. Baylee had a real hard time with Connor gone to scout camp. Wednesday night it hit her hard and she cried in bed for him saying Connor, Connor, Connor, I miss my Connor. She told us the whole camping trip how much she missed him and couldn't wait to jump into his arms when she saw him. So true to her word right when we got home she ran into the house and jumped into Connor's arms. It was so Sweet!

Carson's Airborne Party

Monday we finally got around to having Carson's party for his birthday that was a month ago. Life is crazy but we made it happen. He wanted a party at Airborne Sports Arena so that's what we did. The boys had a great time. After we came back to our home and had cake and ice cream and opened presents. The last picture is of the sweaty party goers named Jadon, Liam, Brandon, Chris, Seth, Austin and the birthday boy himself. A special thanks to my brother Garrett for helping me carpool the boys back to our home, Thanks Garrett!!

4th of July 2012



We started off the day by having breakfast at our wards fourth of July breakfast at the park. Connor was in charge of the flag ceremony so we had to be there right at eight am which was not fun for me. We had a great time visiting with members from our ward. The kids played and we stayed alot longer than I thought we would. From there we headed to Planet Play with the Schaugaards. We played, ate food, and chilled a little. This is a favorite place for the kids, so they had a blast as always! We spent a few hours there then came home for a nap. We then went to the Sandy City Parade, which was way too long but what can you do. The kids loved collecting candy that was thrown at them and as always we were drenched by the Jordan float that Carson and Austin were apart of. We came home and had a quick barbecue and then walked down to our spot for the fireworks. It was a gorgeous hot night and a beautiful fireworks display as always. I sure do love this holiday and the time we get to spend with friends and loved ones!

Plymouth Camperworld, Hotsprings

The last weekend in June we went camping with my sister and her family and my brother Garrett and his girlfriend Holly. We borrowed my dad's fifth-wheel and went for three days. It was so much fun, we spent everyday all day at the pool. The pool isn't like every other pool, this pool is hot springs water and it is Hot. At first I didn't like it with the weather hitting almost 100 but the kids loved it! Baylee had a life jacket on the whole time and swam her little but off along with her cousin Korbin. Baylee surprised us all by learning to do back flips and front flips off of her uncle Josh. Brynlee shortly after learned as well. Warren got fried the first day and had to take the second day off to cool down. It was so relaxing to get away. The kids also rode bikes, we watched movies, played games, cooked smores, and Dad and Jana even came by on the Harley to visit the last night. It was great to have a weekend away and we are so grateful to Dad and Jana for trusting us with their trailer, love you guys!!

Double the Fun!

Every year in June we have the family over for Baylee and Carson's Birthdays. The kids love having the family over to celebrate. I made a couple of cakes and they both picked out their favorite ice cream. We had a great time! The day really made me think about how nice it is to spend time with family and really focus on being together, like is precious!
