We are the Champions!!!

This year in football has been a rough one for Carson. We decided to Z him down an age group because he was the smallest in his age group, literally. Carson made the A team which means the top team and boy do we regret that decision. This has been the worst experience for Carson and for us as parents. Carson was not treated the way that we think he should have been and the coach was mostly the problem. We struggled all year and at the beginning Carson wanted to quit but we taught him to never quit on a team and to put forth your best effort. Thank goodness the boys on the team embraced Carson and treated him well. They had a great season with only one loss to Bingham. They went to the playoffs and won and then played in the Championship game a week ago. They won, and it was so exciting!!
This was such a learning experience and I hope Carson found some inner strength that he didn't know he had. Carson is just the sweetest boy that I know and trys so hard at everything that he does. Sometimes things don't come super easy for him but he always trys his best! I love you Carson thanks for making this momma so proud!!

Book Mark Contest Winner

Brynlee entered her school's book mark contest and she and three other students won! She was so excited and I was thrilled to see her so happy! The school made copies of the winning book marks to give out in the Library. How could she not win with the most popular boy band as the theme of her book mark, right! Great Job Bryn!!

Parent Watch Day

I love it when I get the chance to go watch Baylee on the few parent watch days that the studio allows. She has so much energy and go's to work on the mat. I took these pictures of her perfecting her handstand and she even won grand champion out of the twenty girls in her class. Baylee is so talented and is such a fun tumbler, I hope she keeps this up for a real long time!

Stay off the Roads!!

Connor turned fifteen about six weeks ago and was anxious to get his learners permit. I took him about a week after his birthday and he took the test twice that day and failed it both times. It's a fifty question test that you have to pass with eighty percent or better. Each time Connor took it he was one or two questions off from passing. He was very discouraged and didn't want to go back for a couple weeks. When he decided he was ready to try again he failed it two more times. I was so busy the next day that a sweet friend took Connor back and of course he passed the time I wasn't there. The picture is of him calling me to tell me the great news!
The last picture is of Connor's size 12 wrestling shoe that we just bought him for the up coming wrestling season. This kid just doesn't stop growing.  We are so excited for this new adventure!!

Halloween

Another Halloween has come and gone at our house! This year Brynlee was a spider girl, Baylee was Rapunzel, and Carson was Batman. We went to my sister's house this year for dinner and trick or treating with all the cousins. Carson was on the fence about going trick or treating but Warren insisted that he go; surprise, surprise. Warren is just as much of a candy nut as Carson is. Connor spent most of the day sick in bed but woke up in the afternoon to go out of town with his grandparents. They went to the cabin one last time.

Some call me crazy, I just say that's ME!!

Life is too short so I say live it and have fun and that is what I do. If you ask my kids they will say most days I'm crazy. That's because I like to make them laugh and smile and that usually means I have to do something off the wall to get their attention!
The top picture of me is recently when I showed up to the Middle School for carpool to pick up Carson and his friends and thought it would be fun to wear these silly glasses. It was so funny when they noticed me in the car and looked at each other like: do we really have to get in that car with her where everyone will see us? I drove the whole way home and waved at complete strangers,Carson ducked behind his backpack the whole way home.
The second picture is of me at work the other day when I filled in for a lady. I normally work out front with the kids but this day I was back in the kitchen preparing food and yes I had to wear a hairnet too!
The last picture is of me on Halloween dressed as a minion! Myself along with the other lunch ladies and the office staff all dressed as minions, it was pretty embarrassing but I think I pulled it off!
