Carson gets the C.E.O. Award!

Friday, Warren and I went to Carson's school to see him receive the C. E. O. ( Chief Example to Others) Award. Carson was so excited. His award was for following directions. Here is Carson with his principal Ms. Webb. I was so excited that Carson got this award so early on in the year. I later talked to his teacher where she proceeded to tell me how wonderful Carson is. He can sometimes be so wild at home it's good to know that he is doing well in school. Carson has come a long way since being diagnosed with a Communication Disorder at the age of three. He still has a slight speech problem but has come along way. It has shown in his work not being able to talk or communicate for so long but I try each day to work with him to get him caught up to his peers. Most kids are sent home with 1-2 reading books but I ask that Carson is sent home with 3. It is a lot of work but it will be so worth it in the long run. I love Carson dearly he is such a special son. Carson your dad and I are so proud of you and are so lucky to have you as a part of our family, keep up the great work in school!

Formally known as the Rawson Girls!

Wednessday my sister Elisa and I met up with our cousins Kim and Kelly at Olive Garden. It was a great time catching up with each other. We don't get to see each other all that often so we try to get together every couple months. I have lots of great memories with them growing up! Our dad's are brothers so all of our lasts names used to be Rawson. I can't wait to see you both again thanks for a great time!

Conference Weekend....

My weekend started with the flu but ended with family fun. Sunday my kids and I drove to Farr West where my Dad and step mom Jana live. We bottled Salsa! Yum, it turned out great. Jana taught me alot about making salsa and it went pretty fast with the three of us. My sister Elisa and her kids came also( her husband is hunting and mine is working we were husband less). Thanks Jana, I can't wait to do it again next year!

We took a break from salsa to make homemade pizza's. The kids loved it. They all got to form their own dough to make the crust and put on whatever toppings they desired. Everyone had their own mini pizza, and it turned out delicious!

We ended the night with Jana giving me a color and giving me bangs for the first time in 12 years. In High School I started to grow them out and my bangs were as long as my hair. I was for some reason feeling adventurous, I think it was because Warren was gone. I like to surprise him with my hair every now and then. He was very shocked on the phone when I told him what I did but he said he's sure I'm still sexy! What a sweetheart!

This is me the next day, trying to get an after picture. It's not the greatest since I'm taking it myself but here's the new look. My hair is chocolate brown with honey highlights and of course my new bangs. It already feels so different the jury's out on this one. What I did hear of conference was awesome! I love the spirit that I feel each time I hear the words and music each conference. I really feel lucky to have the gospel in my life. I always looked at my mom as a boob each conference because she was always crying. Now I am doing the same thing. The spirit is so strong that it really resonates my soul. I always come away from conference wanting to do better, and so I will try! P. S. I miss my Husband and it has only been 2 days!

Happy Birthday, Warren!!!

Today is Warren's 33rd Birthday! Warren got a new set of Binoculars and some strap that holds it for hunting, and also the Movie Iron Man. He was so excited to got shopping yesterday to pick them out. Warren spent most of his birthday taking care of me since I now have the Flu. Then he left around 5:00 to head down to Gunnison where he is starting a cabinet job. He will be gone for a few days and we will miss him so. Since it is my honey's birthday I thought I would brag about how awesome he is. He is the best Husband and Father. It is one of the most beautiful things to see; the bond between Warren and his girls. His eyes and their eyes light up when ever they are in a room together. Don't get me wrong he loves his boys, but there is just something about a Father and His daughters. Warren is the most hard working person I have ever met. He also is the most generous and the first to step up to serve. I truly hit the jackpot when I met him. The second time we met was very cold and he literally asked me 100 times if I would take his jacket or if he could wrap it around my hands. Since that time he has put me through a lot but I would never change one minute of our lives. We are at a point in our lives where things couldn't be better. Everything that has happened has been for a reason and we never could of gotten to this point in our lives without the past happening. Warren treats me like a queen, and our love is endless. We don't take each other for granted anymore. I look forward to the years ahead with my best friend. Thank you Warren for our four beautiful children and for being the best Husband ever! Happy Birthday, I love You!

Happy Birthday, Mom! Poor Baby!

Yesterday was my mom's 50th Birthday! Wow doesn't she look great! Happy Birthday mom, you are the best. Brynlee and I had so much fun. We left at 4:00 and headed up to Park City where we shopped at the outlets and then went to Baja Cantina for dinner. In this picture the waiters are singing to my mom for her Birthday, don't ya love the hat!

Here's a shot of my mom with two of her sisters, Caren and Cathy. And of course Brynlee in the front. Also with us was my grandparents. What fun we had! My awesome husband stayed home with our sick baby, and to deal with football practice, thanks honey!

Poor Baby! Here is Baylee at Primary Children's Hospital where I took her today to have some lab work done to see if she is dehydrated. Baylee has been sick since Monday with diarrhea and vomiting. She barely eats or drinks so I took her in this morning where they checked her over and she didn't look to good. She sleeps, wines and lays on our laps all day. It is so sad, she has no energy when she walks she looks like a little old lady. She is usually so active so it breaks my heart to see her so sad and still. Her labs came back border line dehydrated, so her doctor sent us home and wants us to come back tomorrow to see how she is feeling. Hopefully tonight we can get her to eat and drink so she won't have to have an Ivy tomorrow.

Family Supporting Family!

This was my mom's house, we were all ripping out her carpet and scraping the old tile off her kitchen floor so she could get hardwood floors this week. It was a couple hour process but would have taken longer if everybody hadn't pulled together to help. Even all the kids were helping, it was great! That is one thing that is so great about my family when someone needs help with something we all pull together to help each other out!

Can you tell by the look on Connor's face that he lost the Pinewood Derby? It was great fun to watch all the boys and how excited they were to race their cars. It was funny to watch the as I call them " psycho derby dads" who were so into it that their boys barely got to touch their own cars. Anyway we are looking forward to next year, Carson will get to participate in the Derby as well as Connor. Warren will have to make two cars, that will be great fun for him, Not!
