Binky's, Church, and FOOTBALL!

We've had a very eventful end of August, starting with cutting the nipple off of Baylee's Binky so we could ween her off of it. I was told recently by my sister-in-law Corinne that those Binky's they give you in the Hospital give kids buck teeth. We looked in Baylee's mouth and sure enough her teeth were going buck. So I cut off the nipple one night before bed and here she is looking at the Binky trying to figure out what happened to it. It took 2 long nights of crying and no naps for 3 days before Baylee gave up and now will take the replacement Binky that I offered her. So to all of you Binky lovers, make sure you don't give you babies those ugly Hospital Binky's you will eventually regret it like I have.

Also in this month we have had some exciting things happen to a couple members of our family in the church. We are so proud of Connor for earning his Bear and moving on to weblos. Way to go Connor! Warren was called to be the Scout Master in our ward last week, and this week I was put in as 1st Counselor in the Primary! We know that serving the Lord is the only way to go!

Saturday was Connor's first official football game of the season against Woods Cross. Connor couldn't of made us more proud! He was amazing! Connor's team won 5 touchdowns to 1, and of those 5 touchdowns yes our son made 3 of them! It was such a fun day and Connor was so excited and in shock of how good he did. He worked so hard with his team and we are so proud to have him as our son!
Here is Connor after his game with his cousin Kaden, who plays football for Riverton. They were able to watch each other's football games that day, and Kaden was just as excited to win his first game that day also! Way to go Kaden!

Here we all are ( except for grandma Cherie, who is taking the picture) at El Matador celebrating Connor's touchdowns. I had told Connor before his game that if he scored a touchdown we would take him to dinner. Well three touchdowns later, we knew it had to be more than just a Hamburger. He chose to go to a Restaurant in Bountiful. Here's a picture of everyone who saw Connor's football game that day and went and celebrated with us after. Thanks to you all for braving the 100 degree weather that day, it was a scorcher!

The White Family Campout!

Every year we go camping with Warren's Family,
and this year we went to Camelot Resorts. It
was surrounded by walls of rock and the cold
Strawberry River ran through it. We had lot's of
fun as a family, except that Connor was not there.
He had football practice and his first scrimage game;
where we later found out he scored his first ever
touchdown. Go Jordan!

Brynlee and Baylee had lots of fun together,
except when Brynlee was trying to mother
Baylee. Baylee just learned to pose for pictures,
here she is saying cheese!

Baylee was very active as usual. She walked
around and played in the dirt the entire time.
Warren and I literally took shifts watching her
because she went from one thing to another.
This picture shows how she looked most of the
time. Thank goodness we had grandma and
grandpa's Trailor there to bath her in every night.

This picture was taken as we were all getting
ready to break camp. This is all the grandchildren
in the family except for Katelyn who left the
day before, and Morgan who was'nt able to come.
(Katelyn is pictured above with her mom on a
previous entry)The big goofball in the back
holding the baby's is Uncle B!

Uncle B is showing off for Carson and Brynlee!

Last Field Trip!

One week ago we took a day trip to kennecott
Coppermine. I have been planning a few day
trips with a few mom's and their kids this
summer. This was our last one before the kids
went back to school.

This was the kids standing in front of the 12ft
6inch tire that is used on the trucks. This trip
it was us and the Schaugaards. We took the
kids to chick-fil-a for lunch and then on to the
mine. They had a blast.

The kids had fun exploreing, and learning new
things while we were there. Connor and
Carson now want to get jobs some day working
at the mine!

Your in our Prayers!

My step-mom Jana is going into
surgery tomorrow to have a bigger than golf-
ball sized tumor removed from her pituitary gland
at the base of her brain. We know everything will go
smoothly, but I thought I would ask all of you to
keep her in your thoughts and prayers! Jana we love
you and want you to have a speedy recovery!

Thankyou, Michelle

I'm now a Blogger, Thanks to my sister-in-law
Michelle. Michelle came over one day and showed
me the ropes, and now I'm a fan. She brought my
adorable neice, Katelyn. So I thought I would
give a shout out to Michelle, and say Thankyou!
Don't kill me because I put your picture on my
Blog, you two are one of a kind! Your the Best!
I thought I would never find the time to do this
but, it's not as hard as I thought it would be. So
anyone thinking about doing this you should. I
look at it as a good way of keeping a journal for
my family. Hopefully one day my kids will look
back on this and appreciate the memories I kept
for them!

Sassy, our Wild Child!

I've been thinking alot lately about this past
year and how time has flown by. I can't believe
all that has happened over the past several years.
Leaving me to ponder the miracle of Baylee being
brought into our family. I treasure every day with
her and find it hard every minute she grows older.
( yes, she is our last baby!) Baylee is a ball of energy
to say the least. I'm sure god knew we would have
no more kids after her if she came to us any sooner.
She keeps us busy, but we would not trade her for
the world!

We were so excited she was finally here. My
pregnancy sucked! I was so sick for the first six
months, after that it was back pain and sleepless
nights. But look at her was'nt she worth it!

Baylee looks so sweet and innocent when she was
sleeping. AND THEN...... she would wake up. For
the first 6 months of her life, all she did was cry.
We took her to the doctors all the time and told them
to find out what was wrong with her. It ended up
being that she had acid reflux.

What a special day this was. The day Daddy
Blessed you. You were beautiful in your blessing
dress. Daddy was so emotional, the spirit was so
strong that day, we Love you!

Baylee loves Water. Anytime she sees water she
starts panting till she can get in. You look so sweet
in this picture, but around this age is when Daddy
nick-named you Sassy! You could'nt talk but there
was a way about you that we knew if you could talk
you would be Sassing us. The older you got the more
Sass would come out in you.

Here's the wild child in Baylee! As you can see she's
teetering on one foot on the small ledge of her bike.
She does this daily and has not fallen yet. Baylee also
took her first steps the week of her first Birthday, and
by the time the month ended she was running! She runs
everywhere, and is constantly on the Go! If she's not
running she's climbing. For being 14lbs. 10 ounces at 12
months she is small but energy wise she is a monster!

Stake Lagoon Day!

This was us, and the Schaugaards poseing before we went
on the Rattle Snake Rapids! My hair was completely drenched
after this picture. Sarah on the other hand stayed dry due to
a towel she brought on the ride! I will ride with her next time.

This was Kemry and Macee crying
and upset. Brynlee Was'nt going to
listen. Most likely Brynlee started it.

Brynlee wanted to ride alot of the
bigger rides, but she was too short.
So Daddy took her on the Carousel!
Then she rode it again with her friends.

We stopped and had a treat. It was
a first for the White Family, we have
never had Dippin Dots before. Yum!

We had a lot of fun and firsts! Carson went
on the Wicked and the Colossus. He was
scared to death, but after could'nt wait to do
it again. Brynlee went on the roloplanes, and
Daddy kept turning her upside down. She is
so brave. My kids definately take after their
Dad! I went on Tilt-o-whirl and I was sick the
rest of the day. Thankyou to Aunt Michelle and
Grandma Cherie for tending Baylee while we
were at Lagoon all day. We love you for your
kindness, Thanks!

Bear Lake Vacation!

We had so much fun two weekends ago at Bear
Lake. We went with the Mckanes, Wilsons, and
the Vantassells(Corey). The kids had a blast
playing in the sand and swimming in the water.
You can see Korbin had some help! My friends
Cheryl and Jennie and my sister Elisa thought it
would be fun to do some jumping pictures. I opted
out for two reasons. The first was I thought I would
end up with black eyes, and the second was the
whole beach was watching and I was way to embarrassed.
We had fun boating, you can see Connor enjoyed
kneeboarding and just about got up on the wakeboard.
It was a fun and relaxing trip, but I could'nt wait to
get back home to Baylee! It was the first time we
left her overnight. She was great from what we were
told, so Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou to Grandma
Ohma and Grandma Jana and Grandpa Rich! We love
and appreciate you all for giving us a weekend with out
our wild child!
