Connor spent last weekend with his grandparents for a fun late birthday weekend. They promised him that for his 12th birthday and all the grandchildren’s 12 birthdays that they would take them to do something special for a weekend. Connor was given a choice to either spend money on a hotel or take the money and buy a gun. Well you can see the choice that he made was to buy a gun. He was so excited to get his very first gun. They bought a scope for it and took it out to the shooting range where Connor broke it in. Everyone was worried for my reaction thinking that it would be bad but honestly I was excited for him. He is a very responsible kid and knows that this gun is not a toy. He had a blast with his grandparents and will always remember this exciting weekend. Thanks Dad & Jana!

I think he's old enough and as long as he is with people who are responsible it will be ok. He is a boy and he will have to start somewhere- wise choice on his part, he knew what he wanted.. I hope he had a fun time. I cannot believe he is 12- wow..
